Professional Development Plan

1. What did I learn?
The website that I went into was http://www.education-world.com/. I found this website very useful for teachers because here there are a lot of different things that teachers can use , like lesson plans on different material, printable worksheets, and even how to organize your classroom. There are also many resources that I can go into that can help me with professional development such as a virtual workshop, and classroom management. What I enjoyed about this website is the fact that it has a lot of ideas that are helpful and easy to use in the classroom. It also keeps you up to date with school issues. I know for sure that i would like to use this website for tips and as a guide when I teach.
2. What else do I want to learn?
What I would like to learn more about in class is about the different technology and different websites that I could have my students use in the classroom or at home. Like for example when we did the PH scale activity, i like the fact that we could be able to play with it but at the same time learn. I think that children will also enjoy being able to learn by using technology becuase it is definately more fun than worksheets.
